Despite our recent raindrops, the feathers are flying! Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary and Audubon Center expert, Anne Winters, joined me yesterday for a quick preview of this Saturday's Early Bird walk. Within our first few steps around the lake trail, we spotted a swooping owl, a great blue heron and scores of other feathered friends.
Join us early tomorrow morning to try to spy other species. Bring binoculars and questions for our visiting specialist!
